Okay, this isn’t exactly in keeping with the kind of posts we usually publish around here, but I couldn’t help myself. As a huge fan of the Frasier TV series from 10 to 20 years ago (yep it has been that long!), I was really intrigued when I came across these floor plans for Frasier’s fictitious apartment. During the series they never really took you into any of the rooms. It was pretty much all shot in his open concept living/dining area, and I always wanted to see what the rest of the apartment looked like.
Well, with the help of Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde, a Spanish interior designer with a hobby of capturing floor plans of famous fictitious TV show homes, we can see a little of what the rest of his condo might have looked like. You can purchase one his prints on Etsy and explore floor plans from other popular TV shows as well.
We feel quite sure that if Frasier were to be filmed in Ottawa today, it would not be filmed in a condo tower – that is so ’90s – but rather it would be shot in a new Urban infill home, like one of the luxurious new homes built by us – Urbanlux homes. Oh well, we can dream.
